Joss is a series of independent volumes which in their appearance (form, volume, color, texture) mimic nature. Emptied of their consistency and made light, these stylized wooden logs are freed from reality and can be easily manipulated. The spectator interacts with the work by stacking or scattering the volumes to create an imaginary and poetic landscape. This installation highlights and questions the relationship that man has with nature, the one he cultivates, shapes, exploits.
